Safe work in wind turbines always has a first and top priority for Avanti Wind Systems. Therefore, Avanti offers a wide selection of quality personal safety equipment for the technicians working in the towers. Avanti also supplies all safety and rescue equipment, which must be located in a wind turbine. The equipment must always be ready for use in case of fire or other emergency situations making it necessary for the technicians to rescue themselves from the top of the turbine.
All Avanti PPE equipment naturally complies with safety requirements applying both nationally and internationally. But even the best and most professional PPE equipment requires the user to be trained to use it, if necessary. That is why Avanti Wind Systems also offers training in the use of the safety equipment. These courses also include extinguishing a fire and rescue from the top of the turbine.
The harness is equipped with:
Due to the easy-buckles, the harness is light, very easy to put on and easy to adjust to the body. The easy adjustment offers possibility to adjust body-length, seat position and position of the hip attachments. The harness also offers the possibility to adjust the position of the back attachment for better comfort and is equipped with a strengthened back support.
In an emergency situation, the harness offers the possibility of attaching the response gear in the front or back of the harness.
Avanti also offers a lightweight version of the harness named “Tamarin Light”.

• Rescuer can personally descend to distressed hanging person and free his/her attachment and lower or haul up both manually.
• Fits any battery drill machine hoist speed 0,7 m/sec. (max. 200 kg).
• Machine hauling with overload feature. Hauling stops when load is higher than 200 Kg.
